Bradley Harris

What is your favorite part of serving on the school board?

My favorite part of serving on the school board is witnessing the incredible accomplishments of our students throughout the year. It’s inspiring to see their enthusiasm for learning and to know that, in some small way, my contributions help improve our school system and support them in reaching even greater heights.

What inspired you to join the school board?

I grew up in Livingston Parish and had great experiences going to school here. I admired and respected many of the teachers, coaches and administrators that mentored me, so I wanted to give back to help others to hopefully have some of those same experiences.

What do you hope to accomplish during your term?

 My main goals are to complete construction on several school facility projects we have planned and underway and provide additional raises for our deserving teachers.

Do you have a favorite quote or personal motto?

I AM
I AM who God says I am. I AM He is the Alpha and Omega. The Great I AM is sufficient for me.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I enjoy hunting and fishing, although I don’t get to do them as often as I’d like. I also dabble in gardening. I’ve been happily married to my wife for 37 years, and together we have two wonderful sons.
